The kid in my husband

Juan is such a lil kid sometimes, but that's what makes being married to him so much fun! The other day we were leaving to go out to dinner and he thought it would be fun to slide down the stair rail. Little did he know what was gonna happen. After he slid down I caught sight of his back side and he had a huge streak of white paint on his black pants.

Since I said something we had to go back to the hotel room and I had to clean his tooshy. =) It didn't all come out so he still had to change his pants. Just one of the simple joys of being married to my husband...

2 1/2 months left!!!

I can't believe how fast time has gone. In 2 1/2 months we'll have our lil angel...our lil angel that's gonna keep us up all night! Last night I got a big taste of what it's gonna be like. It seems like every night when we go to bed she decides to wake up and do her "arobics", which continues for like an hour, and keeps me up. For those that don't know, we are always on the road living out of hotels for Juan's job. Juan goes to work at like 5:30am (bless his heart, he's such a great husband). Well this morning he had to leave at 4:30am. Of course I can't stay asleep while he's getting ready. So since I was awake, Leyna decided it was time for her to wake up and do her "arobics" again. She kept me up until after 7am. Luckily I don't have anything to do or wake up for right now, so I got to sleep in until 11am. =) To bad I can't enjoy that luxury after she's born...Well here's a couple more belly pictures, hope you enjoy.

Happy 24th Birthday Juan!

Sunday March 16th was Juan's 24th birthday. We're up north past Sacramento (about 5 hours from home) for his job, so he got to celebrate his birthday in a hotel away from family. =( I tried my best to make his birthday as fun as I could. Saturday night we ate out at Applebees. On his birthday he had to work. I surprised him with donuts and a cake to take work. I put them in his car the night before, so when he went out to his car at 5:30 in the morning (bless his heart for all he does), while I was still in bed, he saw this...

Here's some pictures of him opening his gifts on his "birthday throne". He's like a little boy...I love him so much!!!

Cake Time! So they didn't eat the cake I sent him with to work so we had it that night. I was gonna put candles in a stack of cookies, but a cake is better. I forgot to buy a lighter or matches so he had to fake blow out the candles. And YES I sang Happy Birthday to him by myself and I made him act like he was blowing out the candles. I'm sure he thinks I'm a nut...but look at him! =) I guess we're nuts together, but that's what makes life fun!

Belly Pictures ("My Fatness")

Everyone has been wanting to see belly pictures ("my fatness" as I call it), so here is a couple. I'll start from the beginning...

Here's a picture from Christmas Morning. This was the first sign of my pregnant belly. I call this my "ate a big meal belly". Just the beginning of the growing belly...

This is at the beach in mid-January. It's my "ate a really big dinner belly". Starting to look like a pregnant belly a lil more.

These were both taken early-February. My belly decided to pop out about a week before this. It went from a "ate a really big dinner belly" to "yup she's pregnant" in like a week, not kidding.


Here's pretty Princess Alaura at her birthday party, Saturday March 8th. She is so smart. She know's where the baby is and what her name is. Leyna has a lot to live up (in looks and brains). =)

This is the most recent picture of "my fatness"(March 9th). Just looks like a huge ball is in my stomache. My belly seems to be growing continuously now. It doesn't want to stop! In the beginning it seemed like I would never look pregnant, and now there is NO DENYING IT! =)

Leyna Camille Figueroa

Here's the profile of our beautiful baby Girl! She was moving like crazy when they did the ultrasound so there is a double take of her profile. Her nose isn't really as big as it might look in this pic. =) She totally has Juan's profile. Look's like she's gonna be a Daddy's Girl! If you look close you can see her heart too. It's pretty cool. It was so exciting getting to see her it made us very tempted to do the 4-D ultrasound, but we're trying not to spend too much money. They're pretty expensive. Maybe with our next one...

This is a full body picture of her. Everyone says she already looks "gorda" (fat in spanish). Juan's nick-name with his family is "Gordo". Looks like she might take after daddy in looks and size. =) Luckily he wasn't fat when he was born, he just got chubby after. Hopefully she'll be on the smaller side when she's born.

It's a Girl!!! This is the picture of her "girl parts". Sorry if some of you find it a little immodest. =) It might be hard to tell what the angle is, but it's her two legs from the bottom view. There is an arrow pointing between her legs to her "girl parts"The ultrasound tech said that it's pretty positive that she's a girl. We're way excited!!! Just can't wait to see her!
